We need to clean up a bit at our place so we can put the Christmas candles.. yes, Christmas candles. Some people are happy that this festival of light and peace is getting shorter. But that's the way it is with us, we make the summer candles in January and the Christmas candles in July and August. We're going to introduce our Ugly candles for those who plan to spend weekends and holidays camping outdoors. But they are good when it's calm and don't bother us. We make these candles from our leftover wax and add a strong lemon scent to them. These are outdoor candles and we advise that they are not used indoors. For the louse inside the door we have Lavender and Lemongrass, we used that candle with good results inside a caravan we had at Laugarvatn. We are starting to hopefully get back on track but the wait is getting oppressive for me, but I am showing progress.. for those who are curious, I had shoulder surgery on my right shoulder and am still being held up by a doctor and physio, as this is quite a load on the shoulders working in candle making. The online store and the gallery are open because I managed to make a good stock before I had the operation. So please take a look at the website or visit us at Fossheidin, it is open from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm every weekday and you can contact me if this time is not suitable. In order to annoy the governor, we are on our way to Tenerife. Maybe you will get a picture from there :) We will close orders from 14. May but then I go for the so-called maintenance that I do every month and then we open again 10. June. But we will put a phone number on the site that can be reached to take a look at the Gallery. We would like to remind you that our summer candles are now on the shelves and are essential for the environment. We are putting the Ugly candles on the shelves :) which are essential for camping. We will add one or two scents to the tinned candles, but now they have Lavender and Sea Dream. Those candles use 100% soy wax, which we like to use sparingly, because it is expensive to buy. But hopefully spring has arrived and we can expect a good summer. eftir erfiða mánuði í veikindum. Ég hef lítið komið heim síðan í byrjun mars, en fór þá í smá aðgerð sem varð að einhverju mikilu meiru en sem betur fer er ég komin heim og á bataleið, en ekki enn komin með kraft til að vinna. Vefverslunin hefur verið opin allan tímann og því hefur eitthvað minnkað í hillunum. Hef sjálf lítið skoðað í hillurnar hjá mér en eitthvað er uppselt eða lítið til af, svo von mín er að ég fari fljótlega að geta unnið. Gleðiefni eru alltaf mörg og stundum með tragískum undirtóni eins og að fá þetta glæsilega túristagos full snemma og kannski liggja mannanna verk undir en við búum á róstursamri eyju og getum átt von á jarðskjálftum og eldgosum allt í kringum landið en síst á Vestfjörðum og Austfjörðum ef fólk er að hugsa um að skipta um búsetu þá eru þetta öruggustu staðirnir gagnvart þessu. Við hér á Selfossi horfum á uppbyggingu miðbæjarins hér með spenningi þetta verður fallegt þorp sem minnir á Grjótaþorpið og gömlu húsin þar í kring niður við Aðalstrætið í RVK nema hér verður vonandi meira líf :) Þangað til næst, kær kveðja, Helga í Töfraljósum
